Harbour of Arts

Sheung Wan

Harbour of Arts is a contemporary ceramics gallery located in the heart of the Sheung Wan art district on Hollywood Road. Initially founded in Paris in 2001 by Roger Nilsson and Alain Chiglien, Harbour of Arts aims to unite the two cities' mutual fascination for the contemporary art scene.

Their commitment to promote ceramic as a material has been supported by many international museums and institutions, such as the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, Sèvres - Cité de la Céramique, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, and Icheon World Ceramic Center, in which most of Harbour of Arts artists are represented: Eva Hild, Harumi Nakashima, Steen Ipsen, Louise Hindsgavl, Wouter Dam, Nadia Pasquer and many others.
